The vehicle struck a stationary truck on a major road near Lagos on Monday. Joshua was taken to hospital, discharged on Wednesday, and flew back to the UK ahead of the funerals of Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach, and Ayodele, one of his trainers. He posted two images on Instagram, including one of him sitting with his mother and others, captioned My Brothers Keeper. Ogun state police confirmed the driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged at Sagamu magistrates court. Joshua had been on holiday in Nigeria after his December knockout win over Jake Paul.
