Arturo Gatti Jr., the 17-year-old son of Hall of Famer Arturo Gatti, has died and the World Boxing Association confirmed the passing on October 8, 2025. The WBA issued a statement expressing mourning and saying his spirit will live on, now reunited with his legendary father. Reports of the teenager's death circulated on social media and were confirmed by former bodyguard Chuck Zito and by Gatti Jr.'s trainer, Moe Latif.
