The couple were married by a celebrant from the NSW Central Coast and wrote their own vows."

A five-year-old niece acted as flower girl and the couple's dog Toto was ring bearer. Guests included senior Labor figures. Costs were privately met and the couple will honeymoon in Australia next week.
