Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro received a diagnosis of early-type skin cancer after tests confirmed two removed lesions were malignant. Bolsonaro was discharged following an overnight hospital stay for vomiting, dizziness and low blood pressure. The lesion removals occurred on Sunday and required testing. His doctor stated that regular monitoring will be necessary to ensure no new lesions appear and that the removals were complete. Bolsonaro was recently convicted of plotting a coup against President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and sentenced to 27 years; his lawyers plan to appeal.
