The public prosecutor indicated solid evidence of military personnel's complicity in planning and executing the assaults. Among those implicated are active duty soldiers and a dismissed officer. The Tuareg rebels have also captured a military camp in Tessalit, following the withdrawal of Mali's army and Russian mercenaries.
