Uganda's parliament is considering a bill that would outlaw identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer. The 2023 Anti-Homosexuality Act already prescribes life imprisonment for gay men who have sexual relations and, in extenuating circumstances, even death.
