"I'd love to have another fight, a rematch with Floyd Mayweather,"
"I'm excited, but I'm worried about my son,"
Manny Pacquiao is negotiating a potential rematch with Floyd Mayweather for next year amid ongoing talks that leave final plans unsettled. Pacquiao has won world titles in eight divisions from flyweight to super welterweight and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June. He returned from retirement and fought Mario Barrios to a majority draw, with Barrios retaining the WBC welterweight title. Pacquiao initially retired in 2021 with a 62-8-2 record and 39 KOs. Political service included a Philippine Senate term from 2016 to 2022 and an unsuccessful 2022 presidential bid. Mayweather, 48, has an exhibition with Mike Tyson announced. Pacquiao’s son Jimuel will make his pro debut on Nov. 29 in California.
