KSRelief will fund a reconstruction project to clear an estimated 75,000 cubic metres of rubble from Damascus and surrounding areas and to repair critical infrastructure. The aid package includes rebuilding 34 schools in Aleppo, Idlib and Homs, reconstructing dozens of bakeries, and rehabilitating sewage and water systems in the capital. Projects will focus on health, food security and education. KSRelief operates 422 projects across Syria worth more than $500 million, with most work in health and food security. Gulf states including Saudi Arabia and Qatar have provided economic support and investment pledges since the 2024 fall of the previous government.
