The US President has dismissed Ukraine's demands to join NATO and reclaim Crimea, prioritizing Vladimir Putin's stance. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has vowed not to concede Crimea, occupied by Russia since 2014. Donald Trump has openly supported Putin's views, insisting Ukraine won't enter NATO. Zelensky emphasizes the need for any agreements to prevent further Russian aggression. He stresses the desire for genuine, lasting peace, contrasting it with past failures. Zelensky expresses gratitude for the support from America in defending Ukraine's security.
President Zelensky of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight. Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and NO GOING INTO NATO BY UKRAINE. Some things never change!!!
We all equally want to end this war quickly and reliably. And peace must be lasting. Not like it was years ago, when Ukraine was forced to give up Crimea and part of our East - part of Donbas - and Putin simply used it as a staging ground for a new attack.
I am confident we will defend Ukraine, effectively guarantee its security, and our people will always be grateful to President Trump, to everyone in America, to every partner, for the support and invaluable assistance.
