Lina rents a 250-square-foot studio in Stockholm built in the 1930s and converted a run-down, all-white space into a colorful, cozy home within nine months. The apartment feels roomier through bold color choices, layered textiles, and carefully selected objects. Lina repainted walls (including a yellow with NCS code S 0507-Y20R and Alcro "Farmen"), refreshed IKEA Billy bookcases and furniture with DIY paint, and incorporated pieces from brands such as Tylko, Hay, and Globen Lighting. Lina describes the space as colorful, fun, and cozy and uses the same palette in paintings and ceramics.
This tiny studio apartment in Stockholm, Sweden, that was built in the 1930s, may only be about 250 square feet, but it feels much roomier. Lina has been renting the space for only nine months, but in that time she's managed to take what was an all-white, run-down space and turn it into an incredibly cute and cozy home. Now, after renting for nine months, Lina describes her super-small home as "colorful, fun, and cozy."
