County Council awarded 193,125 for harbour refurbishment works in Mullaghmore and Enniscrone
€193,125 has been allocated for harbour refurbishment works in Mullaghmore and Enniscrone as part of a €4.8m national funding package. The funding will enable works at 57 locations under the 2026 Local Authority Marine Infrastructure Scheme. Sligo County Council will carry out structural works at Pollatheeney Pier, Enniscrone, and masonry repair works at Mullaghmore. €99,375 is allocated for Pollatheeney Pier, Enniscrone, with an eligible project cost of €132,500. €93,750 is allocated for Mullaghmore, with an eligible project cost of €125,000. The scheme has previously supported 161 projects nationwide with €59m over five years, funding capital investment in coastal infrastructure owned by local authorities.
