A timber warehouse in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Tokyo was renovated into a hair salon. The client, Hiroyuki Nagae, sought a space offering a unique experience beyond a conventional hair salon format. The salon supports everyday hairdressing work while also accommodating seminars for fellow hairdressers. The space is designed for photoshoots as well. It also hosts pop-up events by local shops, expanding the venue’s role in the community beyond regular appointments.
