Ter Stegen is simply not part of Ajax's plans for the summer transfer window. Although the Dutch giants value the 34-year-old German's qualities, such as his experience, leadership and ability with the ball at his feet, the club are currently not considering a move for him. The veteran goalkeeper is on a significant salary at Barça, and that alone would pose a huge challenge for a club like Ajax. For now, though, despite the rumours, a move to Ajax does not appear to be on the table.

Mika Godts had a major impact on the match as he assisted Ajax's first goal, scored by Anton Gaaei, before he found the back of the net himself in stoppage time to equalise for his team.
