Bayern Frauen will tour Japan in July, staying in Tokyo and playing a friendly against RB Omiya Ardija in Saitama.
“We're very much looking forward to this trip to Japan to boost the profile of FC Bayern Women in Asia as well. On our previous tours to the USA and Mexico, we were able to attract many new fans, and we want to build on that. In Momoko Tanikawa, we have a player who won the Asian Cup with her home country and who has a bright future ahead of her. She's already well known to the general public in Japan, and interest in her and FC Bayern Women is growing steadily. We want to build on this interest with the 'Allianz Women's Tour' - it's a new milestone in our development.”
