One of my favorite parts is a segment in which Hana and her Pokémon friends fly through various regions across the world, so there are plenty of nods to other settings, even if you're not big on Paldea. I'm very behind on Pokémon Horizons, but even if you don't watch the weekly episodes, I can't recommend going through the series' limited animated series enough. There are some real gems on that channel like Pokémon Evolutions and Twilight Wings, and they often dive into the universe in a more grounded, human way rather than relying on the same competitive sport storylines that were so central to the anime for decades.
