Yes, the couch feels very durable and upon researching the fabrication, we found the velvet is actually recommended for durability and easy to clean. The couch is light enough to shift its position but the structure itself feels very durable, with little to no movement when leaning into the arms. There are no creaks or squeaks if you were to plop down to relax after a long day.
