Deandre Ayton is a name that's been connected to the purple and gold after he was bought out from Portland. With Ayton allegedly wanting to be in a 'winning situation,' him being a Laker and playing well seems like a scenario that would be beneficial for both sides.

Given that he's under contract through the 2027-28 and makes $25 million next year, trading for him will be costly, but it's understandable that he's a player fans would like to see at center for the Lakers.
