I don't like when people break clubs. I don't like when people beat up the golf course because we deal with it, and I think the breaking clubs makes us look very, very spoiled.

I've been using Scala since 2009 both professionally and personally, and the Typelevel ecosystem since the scalac fork. Since then I have been trying to contribute libraries in the ecosystem on a regular basis. I currently work at commercetools. I am based in the Paris area in France, and in my free time I like to play board games, TTRPGs, CRPGs, and I read a lot of comic books (mostly European and American).

While some semblance of normality is likely to return in due course, the precise form of that return to routine remains far from certain. Acknowledging that social distancing measures are likely to translate into fewer instances of physical harassment, the report considers the pessimist's side of the coin - in that fewer staff may make individuals more vulnerable.

Ever since Emil Bove came back into government following Donald Trump's return to office, he's found himself mired in controversy. As the deputy attorney general at the start of Trump's term, Bove was accused of corruptly dismissing a high-profile criminal indictment over the objections of line prosecutors and a U.S. attorney. Around that time, he also allegedly told members of the Justice Department that they should tell the courts " fuck you"

The 2025 version of the EuroPython conference took place both online and in person in July 2025, marking the third conference under the current Code of Conduct.
