I first met Diarmuid Ó Tuairisg about 15 years ago when he was working behind the bar in Crowes in Bohermore. He was always someone who was kind, courteous and most definitely a people's person. Over the last few years, Diarmuid was a Garda based in Millstreet in Galway and we would meet each other at many events. He was always friendly and approachable and carried out his duties as a Garda to the highest possible standard.

"The couple were in Ahmedabad to celebrate their own baby shower. It was on the 5 June. She was seven months pregnant. They were very happy."
