Las Vegas is by very definition and mission statement an immersive experience. It wants all of you—your eyes, your ears, your stomach, your imagination and, of course, your wallet. It offers up giant resorts with so many amenities and attractions that, really once immersed inside one of these complexes, you never really need to leave for the entire length of your stay.

I think a lot of the thinking behind it for me is about, I think it makes the show better. I think you can build something that doesn't have to travel every night. I think the show itself is better. I think there's something in this that allows me to like stay in my life while I'm doing it. And therefore I think it allows me to take care of myself better, which I think makes me better at doing the thing.

Developers are planning to bring ABBA Voyage, the high-tech concert experience built around holographic versions of the Swedish pop group, to Hell's Kitchen. The project is one step closer to reality and, if all goes as planned, the show will open in 2028 inside a purpose-built venue on 11th Avenue between West 45th and 46th Streets.

In a full house at the 1,025-seat Toni Rembe Theater, there was an eruption of gasps and shrieks. The grown man to my right reflexively gripped the arm of my seat, sheepishly muttering an apology. Fresh from his victory as the last traitor standing in The Celebrity Traitors, and elevation to national treasure status, the Chatty Man is co-presenting Secret Genius with Countdown's dictionary-botherer, the lexicographer and author Susie Dent. On second thoughts, given the lead times for these things, this is probably better billed as What Alan Carr was contracted to do next but no matter. We are here to have fun and fun we shall!

When we were coming up with the concept for our original show, we first came to the streets of New York City where I hid in a secret confession booth we set up in Midtown and asked women what they really want. Not just in a show, but in life. They shared some deeply powerful things. That insight helped us create our shows in Vegas, London and all over the world.

Is there anyone who doesn't love magic? You know you're being tricked; but try as you might, you can't figure out how. The only thing you can do is laugh and enjoy it. Since it premiered in 2009, OVO has been seen by over seven million people in more than 40 countries, and it's back in London with a reimagined set design, reinvented music and new acrobatic acts. The show features 60 acrobats in incredible costumes bringing flying butterflies, juggling ants, leaping crickets and contorting spiders to life against a backdrop of giant flowers and a 19-metre climbing wall. Expect to see acts across Chinese poles, trampoline walls, slackwires and more, all set to a pumping Brazilian-inspired soundtrack.
