New York City FC launched a five-story-high inflatable pigeon on July 8, floating down the Hudson River as part of a guerrilla-style activation called "The Five Borough Flight." This sculpture weighs 700 pounds and begins its journey in Staten Island, traveling up the Hudson before passing all five boroughs and landing in Willets Point, the future site of NYCFC's new stadium, Etihad Park, set to open in 2027. The timing of this installation coincided with the FIFA Club World Cup happening across the river in New Jersey.
