Melissa Power was hit by a car while cycling at 50mph, which left her mentally and physically traumatized, taking nearly a year to regain her confidence.

I passed the scene earlier and there are a lot of flowers and balloons where people have been trying to come together to show their support for the family. It's hard to comprehend it all," he added. "No parent should ever have to have a funeral for a child," he said.
