Last year changed the way many of us thought about software. It certainly changed the way I did. I spent much of 2025 building, probing, and questioning how to build software, and in many more ways what I want to do.
The classic cartoon franchise is getting a high-budget live-action remake, and it plays exactly by the Marvel rulebook. The trailer is focused on the central story of Adam Glenn, the lost prince of Eternia, forced to live in hiding on Earth.
Star Wars fans will search anywhere and everywhere for spoilers, even among things that exist specifically to avoid spoilers, like working titles. Famously, Return of the Jedi was filmed under the name 'Blue Harvest' to avoid undue attention, while Attack of the Clones was (ironically) called 'Jar-Jar's Great Adventure.'
Aaron Pierre, the star of the upcoming series Lanterns, will reprise his role of John Stewart in Man of Tomorrow. Pierre plays John Stewart, a member of the Green Lantern Corps, in Lanterns, so his involvement in Man of Tomorrow is somewhat obvious, as we've known from the get-go that Man of Tomorrow will pit Superman and Lex Luthor against Brainiac, an alien villain.
Perhaps best known for taking over The Wheel of Time, Sanderson made his electric debut 21 years ago with. Now, more than two decades later, Sanderson's complex fantasy books, including the Mistborn series and The Stormlight Archive, are finally getting adapted for film and TV. Maul is one of the most fascinating characters in the Star Wars universe. For the fans who only watch the movies, he's the Zabrak who was bisected in The Phantom Menace and then popped up in the post-credits scene of Solo. With only a few months left before release, we finally have a detailed trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, the silver-screen spinoff of the show that launched Disney+. From the looks of it, it was worth the wait. There's something for every fan here: unmasked Din Djarin, Grogu being a scamp, an Ardennian shopkeeper almost certainly voiced by Martin Scorsese, and a Hutt speaking Basic.
Grogu (fka "Baby Yoda") won viewers' hearts from the moment he first appeared onscreen in the first season of The Mandalorian, and the relationship between the little green creature and his father-figure bounty hunter, the titular Mandalorian, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), has only gotten stronger. With the 2023 Hollywood strikes delaying production on season 4 of the series, director Jon Favreau got the green light to make this spinoff film.
