Moments into the speech Friday morning, Netanyahu unfurled a map titled THE CURSE (the all-caps were his) in which he methodically used a fat marker to check off the countries where Israel has killed its enemies during a nearly two-year regionwide war. He then addressed the audience with a pair of multiple-choice questions, depicted on a large card. Who shouts Death to America'? he asked as he read off the names of Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen's Houthi militia.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Friday and chastized some of his fellow world leaders in a defiant speech, vowing to finish the job against Hamas in Gaza. Netanyahu also claimed that Israeli intelligence had managed to hack every cell phone in Gaza to broadcast his address on every device in the Strip, allowing him to speak directly to the people of Gaza as well as the remaining Israeli hostages.
The image released by Hamas was accompanied by a text, stating: Because of Netanyahu's refusal, and Zamir's capitulation, a farewell picture as the military operation in Gaza City begins. That was a reference to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's repeated rejection of any agreement with Hamas to put an end to the genocidal war in Gaza, and the expanding ground and air attacks led by Israeli army chief Eyal Zamir, despite his public objections to the government's conquest plans for Gaza City.
