Helldivers 2 prides itself on the concept of Managed Democracy, and in the latest example of crowdsourced decision-making, the game is asking players to choose a planet to blow up with a shiny new not-a-Death-Star superweapon. Fortunately, these planets aren't home to any brave Helldivers and are instead populated by the undemocratic factions that refuse to yield to Super Earth.

The longer term goal has always been to bring the PC installation size much closer in line with the console versions. We are happy to report that, thanks to our partners at Nixxes, we have reached that goal much sooner than expected. By completely de-duplicating our data, we were able to reduce the PC installation size from ~154GB to ~23GB, for a total saving of ~131GB.

As a game that's constantly evolving, Helldivers 2 is no stranger to hotfixes and patches. In fact, a new update has just gone live, and it is designed to quickly address several issues that have cropped up in the game since the start of the Into the Unjust event in the game. This new patch focuses primarily on game-breaking issues causing hard crashes, as well as buffs to the new gear introduced in the Dust Devils warbond.

The new Helldivers 2 Warbond called Control Group introduces a powerful weapon with potential risks when a player has a lot of ammo, along with new support weapons, armor sets, and equipment.

The introduction of weapon customization in Helldivers 2, allowing players to modify their weapons beyond aesthetics, marks a significant enhancement to gameplay.

Sadly, it seems there also isn't a weak point up there that'd allow players who manage to do this to take out the Leviathan from there and then try to survive the rapid descent that'd ensue.
