Yeah, it's really intense here. And, Erin, I just we just all got pepper sprayed. And so I'm just still recovering from that. There's so much of the pepper spray still in the air and so, so many people around us coughing and gagging, including us. So, it's been a really interesting scene here. I've never seen this before in all of my years covering protests here in this area, here in downtown L.A.

As new reports circulate online about a large shipment of unmarked vehicles being delivered to the ICE facility in Burlington, Massachusetts residents are growing more concerned about the possibility of an immigration crackdown that mirrors the aggressive operation in Minnesota. At the same time, local and state officials say they are being severely limited by the federal government in any efforts to address concerns about conditions within the Burlington facility.

Oooooooh, it was a VERY embarrassing start for the feds in the trial that could decide whether or not the National Guard can be deployed to Portland. A U.S. Department of Justice attorney admitted yesterday in front of Judge Karin Immergut that Oregon National Guard troops were in attendance at Portland's ICE facility on October 4-despite the fact that Immergut had approved a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the soldiers being there mere hours before.

Despite a day of near-constant rain, organizers of Portland's Emergency World Naked Bike Ride went ahead with their plans to protest on Sunday-the clouds miraculously parting just before the meetup time of 2:30 pm. Hundreds showed and rode in the buff or in solidarity with the buff. The ride's summer version is a protest against dependence on oil that celebrates body positivity and alternatives to car transport.

We just want to go in and look at the facility and see what the conditions are and they would not let us in. It is shameful. They've refused to tell us this information. I've done this job for a few years now, I've never had this stonewalling by any presidential administration. What are you afraid of? You don't hide, you don't run away when you're proud of what you're doing.
