The Rangers rebounded nicely against Montreal with a nice come from behind win against the Canadiens at MSG, hopefully shaking that curse off the Centennial jerseys. But that's not the story. The story is Chris Kreider's return to MSG for the first time since his offseason trade. Kreider was easily the best clutch playoff performer in Rangers history, and was perhaps underappreciated during his 12 seasons on Broadway. There should be a nice video tribute and hopefully a standing ovation.
We lose a guy for probably a month at least. There's nothing. And that hurt. I thought it was more of him getting bumped and his stick (came up). I know you gotta be in control of your stick, but I don't think it's worth a suspension.
