Bob had real backbone on and off the screen. He spoke up to defend freedom of the press, protect the environment, and encourage new voices at his Sundance Institute. She then detailed their evolving relationship and recalled how the last time they had been in contact, the pair had told each other they loved one another.

It's hard to believe...or accept...that Diane has passed. She was always a spark of life and light, constantly giggling at her own foibles, being limitlessly creative...in her acting, her wardrobe, her books, her friends, her homes, her library. Unique is what she was. And, though she didn't know it or wouldn't admit it, man she was a fine actress!

No president has ever sent troops into the Democratic cities across the country saying full force. No president, as far as I know, has tried to control the Federal Reserve, the central bank. He is amassing power in a way that will destroy our democracy. And so were going to stand up. Were creatives. Were storytellers. We can do it creatively. We can have a good time while we do it.
