Democrats on the House Oversight Committee dropped a bomb Wednesday morning with the release of emails that Epstein sent to accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell and author Michael Wolff that directly referenced Trump. Republicans responded with a dump of tens of thousands more documents and emails, many with explosive revelations. The revelations dominated media coverage except at Fox News. Miller was a guest on Wednesday night's edition of Fox News Channel's Hannity, during which she tried to remedy that situation by blurting out a stream of Epstein patter over the host's objections laughing all the while.
The bill funds the government through Jan. 31. Before signing the legislation, Trump ripped Senate Democrats, who refused for weeks to help Republicans meet the 60-vote threshold to advance the bill. Democrats demanded that Republicans agree to extend healthcare premium subsidies for Obamacare recipients, but ultimately, eight Democrats voted to advance the bill without that provision. The subsidies will expire and Dec. 31, and most of the 24 million Americans on Obamacare will see their premium costs double, on average.
