Diggs said he expected to play against the Minnesota Vikings after a two-month absence from a concussion and a stint on injured reserve with a right knee injury. On Saturday, he was told he would be inactive again. Yet, after the game, owner and general manager Jerry Jones said, "Diggs isn't healthy enough to be out there for us. Period."
"The adjustments that we should be making (defensively) should be with these next three games in mind," Jones said. "With three games left in the short time that we've got to play them in, then that will impact any adjustments that you make regarding coaching with the time frame we're dealing with. That's a legit question."
"Well, you don't like to think about your mortality, but I was so fortunate to have some great people that sent me in the right direction. I got to be part of a trial that was propitious. It really worked. It's called PD-1 (therapy), and it really, really, really worked."
