NASA's monster Moon rocket, the Space Launch System (SLS), has trundled out to the launch pad - though the upper stage and Orion spacecraft look uncannily like a prop from a 1980s British children's television show. After an almost 12-hour journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the SLS, which will be used for the Artemis II mission, reached launch pad 39B at 1842 EST on Janaury 17.

Customer service representatives for Trump Mobile told Fortune the shutdown had disrupted shipments of the $499 device, and said while the device would not be shipped this month, "we've been told mid to late January." The company has not publicly provided a revised delivery date. "The T1 has been delayed due to the government shutdown. They had to pause everything on the FCC side of things," the customer service rep said, adding the $499 price has not changed.

Prior to this year, the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 console was the subject of numerous rumors and speculative reports. The wait for fans officially ended in early June, but a new report states that Nintendo pushed back the Switch 2 launch multiple times despite the frustration of third-party companies. According to Bloomberg, the reason Nintendo didn't rush Switch 2 to the market is because its designers requested extended deadlines for the launch titles in order to "perfect" them.
