The London Cycling Campaign revealed that the 'Upper Tooting Road cluster' is the most dangerous junction for cyclists, with significant injuries and fatalities occurring there. The LCC denounced Wandsworth Council for not addressing the issue of rat runs, which exacerbate risks for cyclists. This junction alone has seen 11 serious injuries and 20 slight casualties in the past six years, highlighting the urgent need for road safety improvements and better infrastructure to protect vulnerable riders.
