A lucky New York Lottery player is holding a winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $17,370.50 after purchasing it at a neighborhood shop in Brooklyn, officials announced Wednesday. The ticket matched all five numbers in the TAKE 5 MIDDAY drawing held on Tuesday, August 26. It was sold at Mill Basin Convenience Store, located at 6122 Avenue U - a familiar stop for many local players in the Mill Basin section of Brooklyn.
Winning tickets at or under $1 million can be redeemed at the main Florida Lottery office in Tallahassee or Florida Lottery district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
