One wrong move, and I could send my partner's toothbrush clattering to the ground, or worse, drop my powdered blush to a shattered grave. It sounds dramatic, but the lack of counter space is tragic. I might get by putting my makeup bag on the lid of my toilet or in the basin of my sink, but doing that feels icky, no matter how clean I keep my bathroom.
