"The name is a paradox. They never functioned as a collective," says Kaat Debo, MoMu's director. "Some of them still describe that label as a blessing and a curse. But they were friends."
"They're everyday professionals who simply don't have the time to shop the traditional way," said Kneen about J. Hilburn customers. Instead, stylists manage fit, fabrics and wardrobe planning, effectively outsourcing the entire process for busy professionals.
I designed this bag in the same way I designed everything else, so largely based on right angles, but perhaps a little more emotionally, more personally. Designing a handbag is undoubtedly different to designing a Braun stereo system, but I applied the same principles. It had to be functional, visually durable, and very aesthetic. Less, but better.
Participating in London Fashion Week is not a luxury but a necessity for any emerging brand aiming to go global. It's your ticket to the world of international fashion. - Katie England, Creative Director of Topshop and curator of the New Generation program
If the internet began as a dream of a decentralized network, why would a history of it stick to the center? Mindy Seu takes this idea to heart in A Sexual History of the Internet. A synthesis of artist book, historical study, and performance piece, the project looks to cyberfeminists, sex workers, and others who have shaped online culture from the margins.
There was an outsider's embrace of French fashion standards in this show, like an open-top omnibus tour at breakneck, gendarme-enraging speed of tailored hooded boleros with sweet bows perched on the noggin like something by Marc Bohan or a young Hubert de Givenchy. There were zip-scarred bodycon dresses that I refuse to accept as anything other than homage to Azzedine Alaïa's seminal 1986 originals.
Travelling for art can be incredibly virtuous and culturally rewarding, like collecting souvenirs for your eyes (and from the post card rail in the gift shop). Remembering to research what is on before I book flights is a lesson I learnt all too well after I missed the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibition in 2016 by one day. As a fashion obsessed 20 something, I did not take this well and have since improved my itinerary planning and exhibition calendar checking.
London has always been a city of discovery. London doesn't just host fashion, it incubates it. Co-Director Biljana Poposka Roberts calls this season "fashion without borders," and that's exactly what it felt like: a cultural collision in the chicest possible way.
Gucci previously commissioned digital artists to produce visuals, including AI-generated images, auctioned as non-fungible tokens by Christie's. In December, it released an AI-generated video of a model strutting down the runway while photographers behind her fall over themselves - literally - to capture her.
In the show, "dirty" extends to anything that breaks fashion's pact with propriety. Here are clothes caked in grime, blotted with makeup, stiffened by salt, pieced from trash, frayed, and faded. The garments span decades, from the 1980s through the mid-2000s, when the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier built their fame on defying convention, to today, when corporatization has made such daring increasingly rare. But forgoing practicality frees certain designers from the demands that the body be polite-and thereby policed.
As we continue our exploration into the dynamic world of NEXT GEN, we are thrilled to present Interview Number 3 in our series, featuring the visionary Amike Studio. Renowned for its unique blend of craftsmanship and narrative, Amike Studio's debut collection, AGASONGERO, offers a profound reflection on the designer's roots and the journey of life itself. The earliest jewellery ever discovered wasn't gold or gemstone at all, but fish bones. In prehistoric times, hunters wore bones, teeth and claws from their kills as talismans of luck and prowess. For Italian shoe maestro Giuseppe Zanotti - famous for his sculptural, jewel-encrusted heels - this idea of turning humble scraps into ornamentation has long been second nature; during a seaside dinner in 2004, Zanotti sketched a fish skeleton on a tablecloth.
Fusco expresses her excitement, stating, "The Blauer family continues its journey, with wonderful images by the masterful Bruce Weber! This time, we chose the legendary Hamptons, where countless stories intertwine to create an intense and authentic narrative that only Weber can capture." Weber's work is anchored in a profound reflection from his book "All-American." He elucidates that "exploration leads me to the hidden lives of others," encapsulating a quest for genuine connection in our fragmented world.
There is a certain kind of presence that requires no grand staging. The editorial "Saint" captures exactly this moment: the intersection of youthful nonchalance and a nearly statuesque stillness. While the first part of the series maintained a cool distance in gleaming white, the continuation dives into an atmospheric darkness. Here, the boundaries between shadow and silhouette blur, lending the series a nearly sacral, heavy depth.

Embroidery is a historic mainstay of traditional clothing in Asia or the Middle East, as well as Western Haute Couture, but it is increasingly present in Paris, Milan or New York on modern men's shirts, bomber jackets or blazers. Designers at Dior, Dolce Gabbana, Kenzo or Gucci have adopted it in recent runway shows, while Louis Vuitton's celebrity rapper-designer Pharell Williams dedicated his entire June collection to India after visiting the country.
This Berlin Fashion Week, the spotlight shines brightly on sample030 as the avant-garde label unveils its latest Fall/Winter collection 2026 titled "Storm the Block." Embracing the raw energy and undiluted power of street and urban culture, this collection serves as both a tribute and a bold declaration of the city's dynamic spirit. All backstage photos by Thilo Wilcke. Drawing inspiration from blueprint structures and the austere elegance of brutalist architecture, "Storm the Block" skillfully transforms these influences into sharp silhouettes and commanding proportions.
The end of the show did not mark the end of the trip. Back at the Le Grand Bellevue the group divided between fireside hot chocolates and the hotel's spa. The hotel's Le Grand Spa is over 3,000 square metres and has eight different types of saunas, several ice showers, foot baths and an outdoor bubble pool (named thus as it's bigger than your standard jacuzzi).
