Butterscotch-coated chow mein clusters combine melted butterscotch chips, peanuts, and chow mein noodles dropped into spoonfuls and set until firm.
2 cups granulated sugar 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup milk 1 cup peanut butter 4 ounces saltines, crushed (30 crackers) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Place the sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan. Heat on medium until it starts to boil. Stir occasionally. Once it starts to boil, boil for 1 minute only. Remove from heat. Be very careful as the liquid will be extremely hot.
