13 hours agoGoncalo Ramos could leave PSG - Soccer News
Ousmane Dembele has transitioned to a central attacker role at PSG, leading Goncalo Ramos to seek a transfer for more playing time.
The reigning Ballon d'Or winner is said to be unhappy at PSG, with the club unwilling to meet his astronomical 60m-a-year contract demands, according to Fichajes. There has also been talk of Dembele falling out with PSG manager Luis Enrique, as per TEAMtalk, who linked the Ligue 1 giants with a move for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland as a potential replacement.
They believe that he could be the ideal long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah. Salah is expected to leave at the end of the season. Meanwhile, Dembele is demanding a contract worth around 60 million annually. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can afford that kind of money. The player is reportedly keen on a move to England and wants to prove himself in the Premier League. The opportunity to join Liverpool will be extremely appealing for him.
Lionel Messi voted for former Barcelona teammate Ousmane Dembelé as The Best FIFA Men's Player of 2025. Paris Saint-Germain winger Dembelé received the award on Tuesday in Doha, Qatar, after edging out Barcelona teenage sensation Lamine Yamal. Dembelé's France teammate Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid was the other finalist. Previous winner Messi selected his ex-PSG teammate Mbappé as his second choice. Yamal, who inherited Messi's iconic Barcelona No. 10 jersey, was the Argentinian's third pick.
I'm not going to take any credit from Ousmane! He's a phenomenally talented footballer who's worked incredibly hard to get where he is, Jacobson smiles. Whether it was his idea or the manager's at Paris Saint-Germain to switch him from playing wide to playing in the middle, but the way he's adapted to that, he's thoroughly deserving of the Ballon d'Or and hopefully he'll still have time to play Football Manager!
