The Raptors dominated the Bulls with superior defense, size, and depth, building leads of 20, 30, and 40 points through forced turnovers and paint dominance.
Will Richard drove his hands right into the fray late in the fourth quarter as two Nets lay on their back with the ball near midcourt of the Barclay's Center. The rookie from Florida ripped the ball away and dribbled toward a completely unguarded basket. But instead of scoring the two easiest points of his young career, he dished off to teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis for a thunderous dunk.
The final score does not show how dominant Detroit looked in this one. The Heat were down by as many as 20+ plus points in the second half, and got pummeled in the paint against Detroit's physical play style. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Miami, dropping them to a 13-7 record overall and down to the fourth seed. Detroit improved to an impressive 16-4 as they remain 2.0 games atop of the Eastern Conference standings.
The Sky dominated the free throw line and the paint to take the 91-85 victory. Chicago scored 52 points in the paint and New York couldn't find an answer all game. The Liberty resorted to fouling, whether it was on purpose or not, to stop the onslaught. The Sky took 29 attempts from the free throw line and made 25 of them, compared to New York's 12-of-15 shooting from the stripe.
