Parades and runs to cause NYC road closures the weekend of Oct. 18

Among the parades is the 8th Annual Disability Pride Parade on Sunday scheduled to take over several Manhattan streets. In addition to parades and runs spanning several blocks, there will also be relatively smaller events such as the Hell's Kitchen Fall Fair, which is scheduled to shut down a section of 8th Avenue. As noted in an advisory from the NYPD, the closures will be at the discretion of police.
