Heathrow Airport has unveiled a £10bn investment plan to expand capacity, aiming to handle an extra 10m passengers per year by 2031.

Heathrow is proposing a 17% increase in landing fees to fund a £10bn investment plan aimed at boosting annual passenger capacity to 92 million, despite airline concerns.

The DAA confirmed it was submitting the 'no-build' application and hoped it would expedite a decision purely on the issue of the passenger cap.
