While most people think of the New York subway as a way to get somewhere, I happen to think of it as one of the greatest art museums in the world - and it only costs $3 to get in. As long as you don't go through the turnstiles, you can go from station to station all day long marveling at the wall art.
For two nights in January, several areas of the City of London will be lit up in a new sound and light festival. Vibrance will feature more than a dozen artworks across five locations, transformed by artists, designers and performers from the Guildhall School. The shows will be free to attend and take place on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th January 2026 from 5:30 to 8:30pm.

Would a hanging art installation of clouds in dichroic plexiglass have helped in any of these situations? No, but one will be coming to JFK's Terminal One anyway.
