Inside the making of Punchdrunk's new immersive 'gothic fairytale'

"What Punchdrunk is all about is a physical activation of the body. It's about putting the audience at the center," Punchdrunk's founder, Felix Barrett, explained. "If you're stood up, and you are having to make decisions, or you're having to deal with a perceived threat, suddenly the flood of adrenaline sends all your blood to your skin."
