RideLondon was a much-anticipated date in the capital's cycling calendar, a day when lycra suits and neon helmets flooded the capital's city centre streets and thousands of riders raced in different events. Launched in 2013 as part of the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games, RideLondon quickly became one of the world's largest cycling festivals. At its peak, around 500,000 people took part, raising more than £85 million for charity along the way.
