Germany updates: Wadephul kicks off India trip in Bengaluru DW 09/02/2025

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul arrived in the southern Indian city of Bengaluru on Tuesday at the start of a two-day trip aimed at deepening ties between Germany and India. "The advancement of our strategic partnership has great potential, from security cooperation to technology and innovation, to the acquirement of skilled workers," Wadephul wrote on social media, having described India on Monday as a "central global partner" when it comes to Germany's economic and strategic ambitions.
