When I reviewed Microsoft's Surface Laptop with the Snapdragon X Elite chip last summer, I was impressed with its snappy performance, fantastic battery life, and overall positive user experience, while noting that it was on the pricey side.

In fact, we reviewed this laptop when it first came out a year ago and loved how well it works for creatives (despite its rather mundane tag as a 'productivity' laptop), making this an excellent laptop for all manner of graphic design tasks.

The manufacturer just debuted a whopping $400 off its highest-end laptop configuration, cutting the cost from $1,399 to just $972. This is the configuration with high-end specs such as 512GB SSD storage and the Snapdragon X Elite processor.
