This $175 Bike Stand Finally Solved Our Garage Storage Mess - Yanko Design

If you own a bike, you've probably played the garage Tetris game at least once. You know the drill: your bike leans against a wall, falls over at 2 AM with a crash, or blocks the path to literally everything else you need. It's the kind of everyday design problem that makes you wonder why nobody's come up with something better.

MG Raiser Doubles Up Your Manga Shelf Without Hiding the Back Row - Yanko Design

MG Raiser from MangaGuardian is a tiny shelf adapter that takes that double-row habit and makes it less painful. It is a compact L-shaped stand that lets you display two rows of manga in the same footprint, with the back row raised just enough to stay visible. Simple plastic geometry aimed squarely at overcrowded shelves, it solves a niche problem that anyone with more than 20 volumes has quietly dealt with at some point.

Adaptive Design Meets Everyday Life: Expand Furniture's Ingenious Solution Pieces - Yanko Design

Their customer base spans urbanites in compact apartments and suburban families in larger homes who simply want rooms that adapt to how they actually live. What strikes me about their approach is the rejection of "small space furniture" as a limiting category. These aren't miniaturized versions of conventional pieces or folding compromises that sacrifice quality for compactness. Instead, Expand Furniture treats transformation as the primary design challenge, creating pieces that maintain full functionality in multiple configurations while hiding mechanical complexity behind clean aesthetics.

I Don't Know When You're Home's Birthday Is, But It's Probably Overdue For One Of These 32 Practical Gifts

I LOVE the look of this fruit bowl. I also love that its pedestal minimizes the space it takes up on the counter. I wasn't sure about whether I would like that it is plastic but now consider it a big plus. It keeps the bowl lightweight (but it is still sturdy) and makes it easy to clean. I highly recommend this fruit bowl. I couldn't be more pleased with mine.
