Berlin's S-Bahn services were severely disrupted due to a staffing shortage, with significant delays and cancellations affecting multiple lines. The turmoil was particularly evident over the weekend, impacting the Ringbahn and segments between Treptower Park and Schöneweide due to insufficient staff for managing signals, which continued to affect service into Monday morning.

Our River Thames weir and lock keepers are passionate, dedicated workers. They live and work with river users and don't want to go on strike. But there are only 52 staff doing the work of 90 - it's just not safe.
