In 2024, Liverpool Street shut for eight days between Christmas and the New Year, and this year it's been confirmed that the hub - which is Britain's busiest train station - will shut for exactly the same amount of time. Network Rail has revealed that Liverpool Street will close between Christmas Eve and January 2, impacting services like the Weaver line and Stansted Express, as well as routes operated by Greater Anglia and c2c.
