More specifically, people looking to buy certain custom MacBook Pro configurations, Apple TV, iPad Air and iPhone 16e are facing delays or trouble finding units at Apple's physical stores. This, in turn, could mean one thing in Apple's world - an upgrade is coming. This corroborates Mark Gurman's earlier reports that the company is gearing up to announce a new iPhone 17e and upgrade the iPad Air.
Speculations on what the Steam Deck 2 might be like have been put on pause - people are now more focused on what is going on with the current generation Steam Deck - it is out of stock in several regions. Valve hasn't come out with an official statement yet, but last night the Steam stores in the US and Canada started showing all three variants of the Deck as "Out of Stock".

On Wednesday, CyberPowerPC announced that it plans to adjust the pricing across all of its systems on December 7th, as reported earlier by PCMag. "Recently, global memory (RAM) prices have surged by 500% and SSD prices have risen by 100%," CyberPowerPC says in a statement posted on X. "This has had a direct impact on the cost of building gaming PCs since 10/1/25."
The company apologized to people who were not able to get a Switch 2 right away due to shortages in some regions. This isn't likely a reference to the US, as the Switch 2 has been readily available for purchase. But shortages are annoying and frustrating for anyone who had to endure them, and Nintendo promised it's making efforts to meet the demand going forward.
While scalping is an ever-present scourge for collectible card game players, it has become a completely ruinous issue for the Pokémon TCG for almost a year now. Ever since the release of Prismatic Evolutions in January 2025, it has been close to impossible for even specialist stores to stock new sets of the wildly popular game, online stores are wiped clean in seconds, and larger retailers see anything put out on shelves gone in minutes.
