It's called The Crane Rider's Tale, a visual novel/adventure game about solving a murder mystery while riding on a giant crane. You play as Mourn-No-More, a man with a giant crane named Snowfall who happens to be able to carry passengers. Early in the game, your friend Peach Blossom is killed mysteriously, and you'll work toward solving her murder while ferrying townsfolk back and forth, chatting with them as you go. You only have so much time in the day to give rides, so you have to judiciously choose who you pick up.

Their explanation is that the game's content violates their Terms of Service in its depiction of sensitive themes. DDLC is widely celebrated for portraying mental health in a way that meaningfully connects deeply with players around the world, helping them feel heard, understood, and less alone on their journey.

While the concept of the multiverse has been explored in film and TV even before Marvel's takeover, it quickly became the narrative foundation of choice. When done right, the potential is undeniable--works like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Everything, Everywhere, All at Once are heartwrenching displays of interpersonal relationships, making characters face the reality of what-if scenarios, reconciling with their choices and what could have been if they had turned the other way instead.

Too Kyo Games' passion project visual novel/tactics RPG hybrid is the kind of thing that you can easily convince someone is impressive, but getting anyone to get over the hump of its magnitude and actually play it is something that still eludes me as we approach the end of the year. I think at a certain point, I accepted that as long as I could get someone to respect The Hundred Line , that was enough for me.
